Thank you to everyone who joined our virtual service this morning! It was so encouraging to see all your faces, be caught up on how you’re doing, to hear words of encouragement, and read Scripture together:

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” – Matthew 10:29-31

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” – Matthew 6:25-33

It truly is comforting to know that we have a God who not only knows our needs, but cares deeply enough to meet them. We also can’t understate the value of our spiritual family that God uses to strengthen and encourage us in uncertain times. We are truly blessed to have such reliable access to peace and rest in days like these.

Don’t forget to check your emails for the information you will need to join our virtual Bible study this Wednesday. And please also remember to keep in touch with one another by whatever means available to you. As mentioned this morning, there is ample opportunity to use this season and circumstance for good. Together, we wait with hopeful expectation for God to reveal more of His glory through the days that are to come!
